Hi There, I had booked flight tickets for myself and my wife to travel from Trichy to Kuala Lumpur and was supposed to board a flight on 28th April 2021. On 26th April 2021 evening at around 4.30pm IST Malaysia banned Indians from entering Malaysia effective from 28th April 2021. Indian High commission also acknowledged this on their website on 27th April 2021 and mentioned Vande Bharat mission flights to Malaysia are suspended. First Air India Express did not confirm this until 28th April 2021 2:46pm IST. Post confirming I have been asking them about the refund, I didnt get any response for 4-5 days post which they replied saying I will not be getting the refund. I challenged back asking why I will not be getting refund but no response to that email. As per DGCA I should be getting refund in 7 days but no luck so far. I tried reaching customer support, waited on call for 30 mins and when finally an executive attended the call, he says my flight status in the system says “Flight Cancelled, Passenger No Show” which doesnt make sense. I have wrote multiple times asking for clarification but no response. My PNR number is RKHCGB and my passport number Z3824747. I am attaching all the email follow ups I have done so far, but no luck.
