I have transported my household goods from Arakonam to Barrackpore on 18 Jul14 for which they have charged Rupees. 35106/- including insurance 3000/- and service tax 3861/- for packing/unpacking and loading/unloading. They have taken the value of individual items for refund of money in case of any damage to the item. The total insured amount is 100000/- Rupees. They have told that in case of any items gets damaged write the list of items damaged and get the signature of driver below the defect . When it will comes back to us we will pay you the insured amount. But I have to pay for unloading of items and when I have talked to Mr. Rakesh of Apex transports he told that you pay the money I will deposit in your account. When it is unloaded I have found that most of the items are damaged. As per their directives I have written the defects and taken the signature of driver and informed Mr. Rakesh about the extent of damage. He told me that he will pay all the amount on receipt of the defect in the office. After some times he told me that he received the defect and he will pay within 1 – 2 days. But there after he is not picking up my phones and till now he has not refunded any money. He is suppose to return me around 20000/- Rupees.
