My son b/o jyoti chandola admitted on 05/06/2019 for neonatal jaundice sec 14 gurugram and discharged on 07/05/2019. As patient have mediassist card no. [protected]. Cashless claim was approved with 25498 rs against the total bill 28280 rs. My liability amount was 2780 rs only. The bill department sent me to his senior staff for further discussion. Hospital staff pressurised me to pay aprx 7285 rs in the name of non sanctioning of amount monitoring charges etc. They told like irda have circular that monitoring charges can’t be paid like blah blah blah. Monitoring charges was sanctioned fully was visible in that day claim settlement still the denied for it. I was helpless and paid 4505 rs more then my liability. It means hospital received 32783 rs against the bill 28280 rs only. It was impossible. And there staff promised me to provide claim settlement letter. And also told me that if they get settlement amount fully they will reverse the remaining amount. Now claim has been settled approx 2 months ago. My tpa sent me claim settlement letter. And advice me to take refund. I called many times to hospital and there one representative he always reply please wait we have no idea when the money will deposit it will take time. They give me promise to refund amount 3 times. But when contacted always say wait, wait wait. Wait. Don’t know when will be the wait will complete 5 months passed. They will not refund your money promise after promise. Promise is only a letter here. And foreget your hard earn money.
