Hi. I am a patient at apollo cradle maternity hospital, koramangala branch. I would actually like to complain about two incidents. Firstly, we had an appointment back at 24th march 2020 during the corona virus lockdown period. But still we made it to the hospital and were told by the receptionist that all appointments had been cancelled and it has been informed to patients earlier. But i haven’t got any sort of email or sms saying that my appointment has been cancelled. And the lady in the receptionist was speaking as if it was our fault. That too during this coronavirus outbreak, we are taking a great personal risk in travelling yet we have been treated like they really didn’t care about it. Secondly, we came to know that the hospital is taking only emergency cases till the lockdown period but now it seems that they are looking into normal cases as well. So again we booked an appointment on april 8th 2020. But we had a problem in reaching the hospital on time due to transport unavailability. We got a call from the reception. A lady was enquiring about our appointment. I told we couldn’t get there because there is no means of transport to reach the hospital. And she asked whether she can cancel the appointment and i told yes and asked if i could cancel or postpone the appointment. But before answering my query, she hung up on me without giving me a proper response.. I would really feel better if this issue is taken care of and in future the lady in the reception responses with care. Please make this a priority because at these crucial times all we need from each other is a little bit of care and not some arrogant attitude.
