I had booked a flight with AirAsia India from Delhi to Pune on 14th April 2021 02:30hours.

Out of nowhere, I received an SMS from AirAsia
FLIGHT CHANGE SUCCESSFUL: The new itinerary for your booking C843UX is as below.
From: I5-728 departing on[protected]:00 AM To: I5-731 departing on[protected]:25 PM Please complete your web check-in 4 hours prior to your departure time. And, get ready to take off comfortably & safely with AirAsia India.

The above message is written as if I was the one who initiated the request to change my flight. I ave no clue why they did this. I tried to change my flight back to the original one I had booked. For this I was using their chat box, Tia, online. There was no option given to me by her to book the original flight again. I tried finding their email ID, but couldn’t fins it anywhere. Finally, I tried calling them 25+ times on their customer care number mentioned on the website. Not a single person responded.

My itinerary is BHOPAL to DELHI to PUNE.
My BHOPAL TO DELHI flight is confirmed and I will reach Delhi by 9PM on 13th April. The only flight which takes me to Pune home by time was this Air Asia flight that I had booked. Because of the last moment panic and no other flight to be found on that date in the comfortable time duration, I had to cancel this Air Asia flight so that I can book 2 different flights for the next day. Because of AirAsia, I have wasted money on 3 flights!!! I EITHER WANT AIRASIA INDIA TO BOOK ME ON THE ORIGINAL FLIGHT AGAIN ASAP OR THEY SHOULD REFUND ME THE FULL AMOUNT FOR THE BHOPAL TO DELHI FLIGHT I HAVE BOOKED WITH INDIGO AS IHAD ASSURANCE THAT AIRASIA FLIGHT WILL TAKE ME HOME SAFE. AirAsia India has refunded me the price for the flight I cancelled with them. However, the INDIGO flight that I have booked from Bhopal to Delhi because of them is non-refundable. THEY SHOULD DO ONE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED THINGS.

I booked flight tickets online through airasia website, for myself, 1 brother and 2 sisters from chennai to kuala lumpur (Booking no. Kt6imy) and return from penang to chennai (Booking no. Gvcikc) to travel on april 30 and may 10, 2020 respectively. But, our flights got cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.
So, i tried to get “refund” of money in april 2020, which was not possible due to timeout of webpage due to long wait time (See screen shot). There were no contact numbers or email id provided to contact them for refund of our money. Finally, i am forced to get our air ticket money in “credit account” only.
Recently i tried the email id given by airasia[protected] on feb 15, 2021 and requested for refund, which was denied by airasia team (Refer refund request email 1, 2 & 3).
Already, it’s over one year that our money is with airasia. Kindly advice airasia to refund our money at the earliest.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I received a message from AirAsia on 28 Jan 2021, refund of Ticket amount for PNR N5UK6K, which the flight got cancelled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. But the amount has not been refunded till now.

I have raised multiple complaints with AirAsia, but no resolution. They are just closing the complaint without any resolution.

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Flights

The issue that I have experienced was: We had a group booking for with ID: C5C83X; due to pandemic I reached out to the support team via AVA chat several times requesting for refund. Cases raised so far – ( Case number 66205675 • 03/07/2020 – Case number 66211793 • 03/07/2020 – Case number 70630723 • 12/08/2020 – Case number 72895068 • 08/09/2020 – Case number 75669368 • 13/10/2020 – Case number 74839731 • 03/10/2020 )
Finally with Case number 78787312 dated on 01/12/2020 they approved refund and said I should be receiving the same in 16 weeks time; when I followed up on the email chain post 16 weeks I did not get any response and now when I put the case number in AVA it says the information do not match. All i am requesting is a refund as promised and its more than 16 weeks since it has got approved!

It occurred on: 1/12/2020

Just return our money as promised!

Hello ma’am/sir,

I received a message from AirAsia on 28 Jan 2021, refund of Ticket amount for PNR I3Q4YG, which the flight got cancelled due to Covid-19 travel restrictions. But the amount has not been refunded till now.

I have raised multiple complaints with AirAsia, shared all the required details several times but no resolution. They are just closing the complaint without any resolution and starting everything from the beginning every time. After trying so much, I got a text message that “The refund of INR 5094 has been initiated today (11/03/2021) for your PNR I3Q4YG” but still I haven’t received the refund.

Hi,

I had a flight booking for my family (Wife and Son) in AirAsia flight “I5 2878” from Bangalore to Delhi.
Departure Date: 21/06/2018
Departure Time: 4:55am from Bangalore.

My family reported to AirAsia baggage drop counter at 4:22am. They were told that check-in baggage is closed.
But they can travel just with cabin baggage. They were provided with boarding passes and an AirAsia staff accompanied them to get
through security quickly. But he did not do much and family has to wait behind 16 people. After around 10 minutes passed, he hurried to clear the security.

I got a call from boarding gate at 4:37am, I told her that they have cleared the security and will reach the boarding gate in just a few minutes.
They reached boarding gate at 4:40am but were not allowed to board the flight.
I expected that Airasia will arrange the travel in some other flight but to our surprise the family was exited from Airport that too after wait for half an our.

I called to the AirAsia call center(Case ID:[protected] and got to know that the ticket is auto cancelled with no-show comment.
Is this really a no-show case scenario? I needed better response/actions from a brand like AirAsia.
I would expect full refund for this ticket as it is definitely not a no-show scenario when the travelers reach to the boarding gate 15 minutes before the
departure time and not allowed to board.
I made several phone call complains to AirAsia call center and also made refund request via their portal “www.airasia.com/ customer support/contact channel/emailer/complain form/refund form”.
But nothing happened. Please help my money get refunded for this booking. Thanks in advance!!

The issue that I have experienced was: As per PREMIUM flex fare the cancellation charge should be 500.per passenger per sector( confirmed by multiple customer care executives of Air Asia) but when trying to cancel, I am getting nothing back. PNR XS3YVE . Ticket 00468019. Also been escalated to Nodal with no response.

It occurred on: 9/04/2021

Update Policy, or manually refund my fees. Compensate for my time loss over last 10 days.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Airline Tickets and Fares

The issue that I have experienced was: Hi,
I booked 3 tickets on 10th March for me and my family Bangalore to Delhi via Hyderabad travel date 31st March 2021. On 24th March I got message from Air Asia that flight will go via GOA instead for Hyderabad. We thought it will not impact our next connecting journey on same day because my wife and daughter have same day flight from Delhi to Bareilly at 2:45 PM.
On 31st March, our flight time was 5:45 AM. We reached the Air Asia counter at 5:05 AM because of our taxi delay and CISF guard stopped our taxi for checking.

1. Once we reached counter Air Asia staff asked us for which flight are u travelling. We said for Delhi at 5:45 Am. She told we need to print our boarding pass even I have already done the web check in from our home again she wasted our 5 -6 min. After printing boarding pass, she asked do u want to do self-luggage check in or conventional checkin and also explained the self-luggage demerits like if 15.2Kg it will calculate as 16Kg and u need to pay extra.
After listening that we told that we are not sure about weight. She sent us to queue for luggage check in even she knows that we have flight at 5:45 AM and we are getting late. Is this correct action taken by her or intentionally she wants to do cancel our flight? Generally, I saw in other flight like IndiGo, Spice Jet etc attendants takes the preventive action in that case if passengers are getting late. They do luggage check or security check in on priority basis.

2. At 5:15 AM I got call from Air Asia Gate where are you Mr Amit. I told Mam I am doing check in and she cut the phone without saying anything. Is it correct behavior?

3. We requested the staff who printed out boarding pass and tried to connect Gate staff. That lady sent us to her senior. Now senior talked to Gate staff and told now u cannot do boarding because u came here late.

4. We requested staff that try to understand that we have kid and we have one more connecting flight from Delhi. But they said sorry we cannot help u. We can do only reschedule your flight which was on 11:45 AM from Bangalore and will reach Delhi at 2:05 PM and u have to pay 13, 452 Rs. We told that we have flight from Delhi at 2:45 Pm. What they told u can request to another flight they will allow you. What a joke here in your flight you are not allowing us because of 5 min delay and assuming that another flight will accommodate if we will late because if flight will land at 2:05 pm means we will take our luggage around 2:20 pm.

5. To avoid delay our further delay, I booked my new ticket from Vistara at 9:45 Am from Bangalore to Delhi at cost of @17616 Rs. That is the cost I need to pay because Air Asia staff did not give attention for my check in.

6. Same time I raised the request for cancel my ticket with Air Asia and I got message the Air Asia will refund 1848 Rs and charged cancellation fee 12246 Rs.

7. Is this right behavior of Air Asia staff during this pandemic situation?

8. Air Asia staff don’t want to understand that what kind of stress we felt during that time and on top of that we spent 17616 Rs only and only for 5 min because of ground staff negligence for check-in.

9. We raised our request to customer care they told sorry and please proceed further cancellation.

10. This sorry word is not enough for me.

I want my full money refund from Air Asia and also the ticket difference which I paid to Vistara.
