im studying in amet university. they are getting more fees and not providing good food in canteen and its unhygenic. while collecting fees they told they will give placement yet now they didnt give im going to finish my course better any of them interested in marine join vams good for all study , placement,food ,coaching etc

Amet university is an educational institution converted from a college to university.In the name o[censored]niversity the fess they take is well above 2 lacs.
75000 rupee per semester,60000 for hostel,12000 for books.This for just one course the maximum collected fees comes around 2.4 lacs for a merit seat.On top this students are cheated.They dont have proper infrastructure facilities,poor student teacher ratio and the standards of the professors are pathetic.Department heads with just a degree qualification,teachers who doesnt know to communicate with students in in english.The amet canteen is a place of child labour where kids are employeed for cleaning and serving food.It takes 60000 thousand for hostela and student are made to stay in a open dormetory.They start courses and terminates it without any idea of what they are doing.This hinderng the students education progress and future.

Sir myself arun sing, from chennai.
im doing some course in amet university, kanathur, chennai, tamilnadu
we are studying under dg shipping so we must do residential course here.
we are staying in campus hostel and eating the college providing food.
we are give about 60000 rupees for boarding and food, but the college administration have not providing good food.
They have a schedule for food items and it has repeatedly giving for long years they are not changing the food menu for about 4 years.
Even that food also doesn’t looks good and healthy,
the food which are given to foreigner were much much better then us though they are paying the same what we paid,
this is not only for me, it is voice of each and every student in this college
except food all facilities were good i didn’t mean that all were wrong here and
since it is deemed university, we cannot talk to the administration directly and they never bother so please kindly take a step against it,

Amet university is running fake diploma courses in mechanical, naval arch, amd many more.in recent ugc inspection they have suspended diploma clases and said diploma students lie that they do not have enough classrooms and they are charging more than 1.5 lakh for diploma please report to ugc. Help diploma students because 2 and 3 year students are stuck and they have not even released the result yet for diploma and removed everything from their data

Our seniors are given fake placement assurance. Hod is not good. He is not good speaker. He struggles to speak in english with us in campus and also in class.. So how can he have good relation and support for us with friends in other college. Coe is worst dept. Not proper land area. No approved courses. No companies come except for marine. Plz don’t spoil our money.

I vrushabhendra seeked admission to the course me in naval architecture and offshore engineering. To which i have paid a admission fee of 35000 rs. To the university on dated 13/03/2019 through online and i got a receipt bearing fee paid receipt no. A17696.in the due course i received a admission letter from amet on dated 16 may 2019 bearing ref. No. Amet/admin/2019 stating that to produce the said documents as mentioned in point d of the admission letter (Copy attached) by 9am on 08/08/2019 at amet.
When i went to amet for the admission process i was shocked to hear that only 3 students were there for the admission to the course. Meanwhile i came to know with other candidates that there is a fee difference collected from me 35000 rs and with other is 8000 rs.
So i thought of seeking admission in other university and decided not to get admitted to the course in amet.
Immediately i gave a letter in writing to the registrar regarding to cancel my admission and return admission fee of 35000 rs.
But the ar refused to accept my letter at 3.30pm and after several requests from my side ar informed and said me to come tomorrow and we will accept your letter and will repay your fee back.
When i went to ar on 09/08/2019 after waiting till evening 6 pm officials of ar office returned only my documents with sign but they didn’t repaid my fees
And told that admission department will respond.
From then i am not getting any proper information regarding my fees by admission and administration department since i am a resident of karnataka. I am facing lot of problems from amet university to get the information.
