My name is Ravi Kumar, and i am from Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills. in our area since past couple of month there is a frequent power failure where, power fails every half hour or one hour on daily basis, though your dept has declared no power cuts but still why is sudden power failures causing. when the power fails in the night times its like a heck and no one available at your dept to help us out.

when we try to reach your Customer service number it always keeps busy and even if by luck we get connected they just give us the complaint number and hangs phone, when i call the banjara hills fuse off call office, the person on duty attends and says he cant do it at that and will send the lineman by morning. some times they just hangs phone whitout listening to us. we have small kids and i know this summer season how it would be.

I am a resident of Golconda area, Hyderabad and I have had several issues with the way the employees of APCPDCL worked. The linemen charge for even problems with Electric poles after heavy rainfall or issues with transformers. So why should the linemen charge for things which is their basic duty. And if the residents at my place refuse to pay, they just don't rectify the problem and instead they just leave without rectifying.and when confronted, they say that government salaries aren't good enough so charging money from us is the only thing they have to do. Recently a billing guy who came over to my place wrongly billed me for which I had to visit different APCPDCL offices a number of times to get this thing rectified. Even the employees at supervisory level like Asst. Engineers at APCPDCL office, Seven Tombs- Golconda are corrupt and ignore the corruption among their sub-ordinates. Hence I would request the concerned authorities to look into the matter and do the needful.

Despite paying the electricity bill, the APCPDCL people are disconnecting the current connection, repeatedly, without informing the owners.

This has become a routine for them, and we dont know who are the crooks.

Dear sir,
we are resident in pragathi nagar, NRI COLONY, sai nagar, jntu, kukatpally, Hyderabad today the electricity line has disconnected our fuse without any information due payment for only days gap and its such a bad service i dint saw this service and that person in my whole life cant do his job rightly… and we dint saw electricity disconnection anywhere where everybody get fine… and our last bills where payed on time… not only ours but so many are suffering this kind of behavior… we all owe an explanation… please this my humble request to take action on this…

This month I have received a very high electricity bill from apcpdcl and rs.6212.00 is charged against current electric bill (dated 05/04/2014). No. o[censored]nits consumed is mentioned as 870 units which seems incorrect. In the past 2 years I have received the bill in the range of Rs.500-800/- . Also. since it is summer no high power devices (like water heater etc.) were under use.
I am not sure of the reason behind this – it can be faulty meter or incorrect meter readings taken by your line man. Please reconcile my meter reading immediately.

When i was out of Station my service connection was cancelled without any intimation to me and without any request letter from me and removed the present connection meter and new one was fixed under new unknown name. I have been getting electricity bills demanding to pay huge amounts even though i am not using the it minimal. The mistake is on account of wrong reading noting by the meter reader. I do not know what sort of people are employed for noting the same and cannot read the meter properly and people like me are put to hardships month after month running from pillar to post from offices to offices around the city getting it corrected.

Earlier in January as the meter reading was wrong, i had approached the Mudfort electricity office who inturn asked me to visit their mahendra hills office and from mahendra hills office to their paradise office all the movement of papers had to be done by me and finally i got the same corrected.

To my surprise the next month again i got a bill with huge amount demand and i approached the paradise office, wherein it was observed that the consumer number was entered wrongly and due to which wrong amount bill was generated. A fresh bill was given to me and was asked to pay and then the amount was paid.

Again after two months i get the recent bill for the period 07/2009 for Rs.1597.00 as demand notice so i approached the paradise office and was told that i have to restart the earlier procedure of visiting the AE at Mudfort / Mahendra Hills/ Paradise.

Can any body help me in this regard. If the same is not resolved in a weeks time i plan to go to the press.
