We had purchased Faber Glass Chimney in Oct 2008 which has 12 years warranty.
While purchasing they had informed that there is Warranty card inside the box- where as there was no such warranty card in the piece.
Now there is some problem with the Chimney and it is not working. But the dealers now want the warranty, without which they will not give the service free of cost. We have showed them the bill and invoice number but they are keen on seeing only the warranty card.
I feel this is their way of looting money from customers. If the warranty is for 12 years and we cant even avail one free service that too when the machine is not working . What is the use of such expensive and branded product.
