(Date: 27/09/2017) received a call from +91 [protected] from giggles welfare organisation (Agwo) asking for donation for a child who is burnt and all. Gave a emotional speech and all.

When i said i will think over it and disconnected the call (To check online the facts about this organisation), he started sending me abusive messages.

From what i read online, these are bunch of fraudsters running this scam and some one needs to deal with them seriously so that no one can get fooled by them.

I feel such organisations should also be cleaned from this country under "swachh bharat abhiyaan".

Hi, yesterday i got call from one person called venkat and one of his friend with the numbers [protected], [protected]. They mentioned that baby was in serious condition and need to undergo immediate operation by 2pm. He was navigating me and me me pay 7210 for the kit amount. Later after 20 mins later his friend called up and mentioned that something went wrong there is no hope apart from you we tried all possible ways, and he was so pleasing and i was too convinced and paid some extra amount and he mentioned he will send the details once the operation is over, till now no reply from them. I am gonna wait for few more days for the details, if not for sure i am gonna raise the police complaint with all the bank statement proof. Guys please be aware think before you donate online. We will be kind enough to generate for a noble cause but there will be someone who will misuse that. It was really really bad how can someone play this for money.

Got a call from the number – [protected]

By a girl named sana gupta volunteering for giggles ngo.

Since i get every day call from different organizations asking to donate as a small child is seriuos.. I said thank you and wanted to hang up by then this girl raised voice and asked thank you kyu bola.. Am i selling product here.?. Because of people like u nothing happens much.. If child dies i will whatsapp you photo.. And started speaking very rudely… So unacceptable.. When i confronted she only went on blaming. When i asked i wish to speak to her manager she said this is not product selling company to speak to manager later she went on to say all her managers have left to donate blood… Everything seemed so fake… On top of that very rude behavior

They tried luring me with the profile of a baby named khusi.
And when i googled agwo i ended up here. The lady that called me was named madhuri atleast this is waht she told me. Here are the details of the persons that contacted me.

I got call on 10th november from ms. Mani ([protected]). She have stated me that they are working for a ngo that help to save the people who are suffering from burn. She also send me the picture of patient as well as the hospital, the address of the hospital was 5th floor, vinayak hospital, captaion vijay thapar marg, sector 27, noida, uttar pradesh 201301. And ms. Mani told me that currently they have a patient who is completely burned and they need money for the same.. Also she insisted very much that they have very heavy need and she also send me the account number also of them. She told me that they need rs.5060 for charity and that will help me a lot… Also she said me that they will provide me the receipt also from their side. Meanwhile, that grl convinced me to check the website "http://ngo.India.Gov.In" and check his organization registration id "74954" to assure genuinenes. So i deposited money in that account on 10th november via internet banking,. Then i come to know about fraud but till date i have not get any money from their side although they have told me that they will refund in 2days.. I am clear that i will move to highcourt as well as take legal action about this fraud if i did not get money till tomorrow.

Just received a call on 04/10/2017 from a person named ankit (+91-[protected]) claiming to be a student volunteer working for ngo agwo asking me donation for a poor girl child named baby kushi burned with electric shock admitted at vinayak hospital noida. He told me that he got my mobile number from a blood donation camp whereas i have never attended any camp. He told me that girl will be undergoing surgery and requires about one lakh help and i should help atleast with approx 13000/- rupees immediately. He pointed me to website http://www.agwo.org/ and presented me with profile of above child with lots of burned pictures and vinayak hospital memo and forms. He requested me to make online payment immediately but i told him that i will make the payment after checking the website. Luckily i called the hospital and came to know that one girl with same name was indeed hospitalized in burns ward but she has already been operated, has recovered and will be discharged tomorrow. Whereas volunteer had told me that girl is going to be soon operated and family requires money for operation. I then checked on google about this ngo and came across so many fraud stories and complaints. Strange finding is that every poster on internet has mentioned same girl name no matter suffering from burns or fallen from school building and that too from last several months. How is it possible? I think they might be helping the poor family but are 100% making extra money through donations. This is really bad and deters genuine people also from helping and trusting ngos. There should be a website or govt authenticated list of genuine ngos. Please check before making payments.

Hi, on 8.12.2017, i got a call from[protected] number and the caller requested me to pay donation. As i was in a function and could not hear him clearly, i shared my email and asked him to drop a mail. The caller sent the mail. I googled the organization and found there were many compliments about it. The next day, i got another call from[protected] number and on declining to donate any money, the caller started using bad language and misbehaving. This was quite shocking – either give money or be prepared to get assaulted. I called the phone number given on their website[protected] but of no avail.
I request the authorities to take suo moto action and warn the public about this organization.

There was a guy and women who called me just now they sound really aggressive and this is not the way to ask for help. They need the money right way if not they are not interested. I have never seen an ngo work like this. I too work on a ngo for the past 5 years never seen such kind of behavior. They are as good as no help for anyone that what i think.

Got a call from [protected], demanding amount as a donation, he is very persistent in repeated calls, when i asked for the proofs, he whatsapp me many pics and testimonials from the government officials that to from very honest Shila DIXIT, former delhi CM . It is very convincing, I realized only after googleling out the Giggles Ngo fake . Thanks to Consumer forum for information . Plz be aware of these organizations .
