We have booked a flat in aliens space station 1 on 11th march 2009 on the name of g mahendra kumar and g sudha rani (Flat no: 902, 9th floor, ss1). We made the payment through sbi housing loan. We canceled the booking on 27th october 2012. The total amount paid through housing loan was 17, 50, 000 out of which only 9, 09, 545 have been refunded in two installments, 3, 19, 058 (29/10/2013) and 5, 90, 487 (7/11/2013). The rest 8, 40, 455 have been deposited into some other account that does not belong to us.
My main issue here is:
1. Why and how was the amount deposited in someone else’s account without any proof from our side.
2. Why was the amount refunded in partitions and why was the refund initiated 1 year after my cancellation request
The interest from the bank has piled up due to this and is effecting our cibil score and our current properties.
