I was asked by the Lakme Academy to make the payment by January 31 because they were offering me a 50% discount. I asked them to give me 3 months because I had to serve a notice period at my office but they insisted I pay the fees in January and start the course from March or April, I trusted them and paid the amount upfront. Due to Covid I was left jobless and could not pursue my course, I waited till they re opened but it was too late and I am facing financial difficulty. I wrote to the customer care and sent many emails to the management team of both Lakme Academy and Aptech but no positive response. They did not care about my situation, they asked their officials to call me and convince me to join the program saying refund was not an option. I haven’t even attended one single class. I was contacted by a senior at Lakme and she tried to convince me to join the classes, I insisted on a refund and she gave me the regional head’s number. I called him and he told me he will try his best to get me a refund and to give him one day’s time. I call him after two days only to find that he has blocked my number. Is this the type of service Lakme Academy and Aptech is going to offer? I need my refund because after this behaviour I am not going to re think my entry in this academy.
