A year ago I took ACT Fibernet broadband connection with ACT Swift plan, at the time of installation the router used was TP Link model TL-WR850N & was instructed by field engineer that the same router can be used for plans up to 300Mbps(Same thing is written on the back of router).
On 07/01/2021 I decided to upgrade my plan to ACT Blaze 150Mbps speed plan. The plan was activated but, I ended up getting same 50Mbps speed instead of 150Mbps, when I contacted the customer support team I was told that the router I had did not support the plan.

If the router did not support the 150Mbps plan I don’t understand why the field engineer told me that the router he installed was enough for plans up to 300Mbps plans & now even though the problem if from their end they have charged me with 1, 280INR for the plan from which I did not receive any benefits & asking me to pay extra for new router. I did not assume nor made up the router issue, I was misguided by one of their field engineers which makes it their fault. I want ACT fibernet to compensate me with a new router at no cost as it is their fault.
