Air India Express — COMPLAINT AGAINST AIR INDIA EXPRESS STAFF’S BAD ATTITUDE

Sir,
I am writing this complaint letter, having gone through lots of inconveniences and troubles faced by my wife and my infant boy during my recent trip from Kolkata to Singapore with your Air India Express Staff at the Check-in counter on 28 Dec 2010.

Some hardship faced by my family are listed below:

1. My wife, my infant son and I have a confirmed ticket from Kolkata to Singapore in Air India Express on 28Dec 2010, 3.25am flight but we were denied blatantly of our seat, for the reason Flight Overbooked.

2. At Kolkata check-in counter, the lady staff’s attitude towards my family (with infant) was very harsh and inhuman. She denied any consideration and priority for my infant even after explaining to her that my child was under medication and not feeling well. So we were in Queue for One and half hour before we reach check-in counter and to be denied seat at the end. There was only one lady staff in the Kokata check-in counter, so I believe it will be easy for your office to identify her and take necessary action.

– She accused us of not queuing up early to check-in when the seats run out. She is inconsiderate and not fit to serve decent passengers of any flight. Don’t this flight company have any consideration/priority for any infant/sick/elderly/handicapped people? I wonder!

3.Our family was rescheduled to fly on 30 Dec 2010, which we did and reached Singapore safely. But the damage has already been done and we have missed important appointments and engagements relating to our works since we have to retain in Kolkata for another two days without any assistance from the flight company. And my infant boy’s health has deteriorated and thus need further medical attention as soon as we reach Singapore.

4. This big blunder was committed by one poor inefficient and inconsiderate staff to our family which is hard to tolerate. To add salt to the wound further, she (staff) was never remorseful and not even tried to apologize for the matter.
I dont think i will ever take Air India Express Again!
I am waiting for the apology letter from the lady staff.
