My mother in law was admitted to Fortis Mulund because her stomach was hurting. The doctors diagnosed it as gas and the pain refused to go for 2 days. She was IN the hospital. One would imagine that if a gas problem has not been resolved in 2 days, the doctors start evaluating for other symptoms. She had a massive heart attack on Day 3 as a result of which she passed away. In the hospital. Saurabh Shah was the doctor. I hope he gets sacked – I hope someone in his own family doesn't have to go through the same before he realizes what medical malpractice is.
