I bought new verna from chrompet dealership during year end sale and vehicle was registered with rto on 6th jan 2020 and sales executive surya confirmed i will get my original adhaar card and number plate within 5 working days… Assuming i will get within 5 days i planned family vacation on 17th jan..in spite of repeated follow-up today 16th jan there is no response…

When i took delivery of car (8th jan) i asked the sales rep will i face any legal problem for not displaying the number anywhere, and based on his confirmation that keep the invoice and other documents so no issues will be there as the car is registered 2 days back.. The moment i drove out of showroom in less than 2km i was stopped by traffic cops for not displaying the registered number… Which was a real disaster when you are taking car for the first time…in spite of that gave positive feed back…

Now i spent money accessories and trip accommodation but no number plate yet… Dont even know what to do now!
