Hi Team,

We are visiting apollo cradle brookefield regularly in Bangalore. Even we are coming inside apollo only they are charging parking fees illegally and damaging the car of customers.

Apollo cradle has hired parking valet people who only bothers about the money irrespective of patients emergency situation. Since it is hospital i dont think so they should charge for parking even that is high . People collecting the money is rude and even hospital staff is not supportive. They are damaging the car of their own patients.

Kindly take necessary action on the security guards and hospital staff as soon as possible.

Respected sir/ma’am,

I am manav rathi, my family, my wife sameeksha shokeen and myself are under tremendous stress because of dr nidhi khera’s extremely rude behaviour and improper communication of health problem resulting to removal of one tube through surgery of sameeksha due to delay in action.

On 28 feb after a little discomfort in my wife’s stomach we went to dr nidhi khera.
After waiting for 45 minutes from our appointment in evening she checked sameeksha and said us for tests and not guiding properly to take correct course of action. With a vague idea to get hospitalised.

On 29th after having ultra sound we rushed to apollo cradle moti nagar and the operation took place before which taking advantage of emergency dr nidhi khera asked me to sign various documents.

Also at the time of billing instead of 1 blood bag we were charged three which was changed when we pointed out. Also medicine was also extra charged which we pointed out and asked for explanation following which refunded after one week was processed.

After we got discharged on 2 nd march we have contacted doctor after one week on 9th march and now she is saying other tube is also damaged without giving proper explanation.

Very rude behaviour and no proper guidance from dr nidhi is causing huge amount of distress and panic. She is not answering sos calls from 9th march.

Requesting you to please take action and help us with our critical situation.

The staff behaviour is very rude and unapologetic. First of all they cancelled appointment without information and when i complained rather than be apologetic they started giving excuse. I logged an official complaint and even after 2 weeks no response from admin department. When i asked front desk regarding the complaint status they don’t have any clue and told me to call after 2 days to check on status. When i tried to put a point that it’s their job to solve any grievance and why i need to follow it up, they had no mechanism to follow up. I told them i will be putting their feedback online, in response the reacted very badly and said do it as if they don’t care

Hi. I am a patient at apollo cradle maternity hospital, koramangala branch. I would actually like to complain about two incidents. Firstly, we had an appointment back at 24th march 2020 during the corona virus lockdown period. But still we made it to the hospital and were told by the receptionist that all appointments had been cancelled and it has been informed to patients earlier. But i haven’t got any sort of email or sms saying that my appointment has been cancelled. And the lady in the receptionist was speaking as if it was our fault. That too during this coronavirus outbreak, we are taking a great personal risk in travelling yet we have been treated like they really didn’t care about it. Secondly, we came to know that the hospital is taking only emergency cases till the lockdown period but now it seems that they are looking into normal cases as well. So again we booked an appointment on april 8th 2020. But we had a problem in reaching the hospital on time due to transport unavailability. We got a call from the reception. A lady was enquiring about our appointment. I told we couldn’t get there because there is no means of transport to reach the hospital. And she asked whether she can cancel the appointment and i told yes and asked if i could cancel or postpone the appointment. But before answering my query, she hung up on me without giving me a proper response.. I would really feel better if this issue is taken care of and in future the lady in the reception responses with care. Please make this a priority because at these crucial times all we need from each other is a little bit of care and not some arrogant attitude.

Dear Sir/Madam,
This is regarding the complaint that i want to file against Apollo cradle & Children’s Hospital, NH-1, Shakti Khand 2, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, U.P. for overcharging the maternity bill and mislead the patient Attendant for new born baby treatment diagnosis by doctor & hospital management.
I booked the private room category maternity package of rs 78000 one month in advance on 18th oct, 2018 due to covid situation
after enquired with apollo care manager Ms Divya.
The maternity package costs rs 78k (rs 70000 for maternity delivery + rs 8000 for new born baby with some inclusion/ exclusion charges) and i asked for breakup to have an fair idea about the pricing but she had not provided the approximate break up and i was told to recieve final bill at the time of discharge.
My wife Mrs. Swati Rawat was admitted to Apollo Cradle on 18th Nov, 2018 and she delivered the baby girl with NVD on 18th nov, 2018 and we both were very happy after seeing my new born baby girl and at the same time i had also observed the bluish color on my new born baby skin.
Doctor neonatologist took my baby in NICU and after sometime he told me that baby had breathing problem and they were trying to normalize her SPO2 oxygen level.
The whole day 18th nov, they told me the same problem with the baby and monitoring SP02 level until morning and asked me they had to use CPAP(oxygen suppy) machine and may be later ventilator also.
They used CPAP machine on 19th day morning and told me its cost around rs 20k plus investigation charges.
On 19th nov at noon just after using CPAP they did doppler echo screening and informed me that baby had complex congenital heart disease and required cardiac surgury and asked me to refer the baby to Indraprastha Apollo hospital, sarita vihar for heart surgury as communicated with Apollo cradle manager.
My baby girl admitted to Indraprashtha Apollo hospital on 19th evening around 7:30 PM after waiting for Indraprastha Apollo hospital ambulance for 5-6 hours.

Being from non medical background, i also identified later on reading the medical materials about bluish color skin on forehead and body of baby and based on other parameters told by doctor that she had issues with heart but still doctor, neonatologist at apollo cradle took a day and half, already used CPAP m/c and did doppler screening test which should be done at very first time immediately once they saw these symptoms.
Either they wanted to increase the billing charges by adding CPAP/NICU charges or they are not qualified enough to identify the problems based on clearly visible symptoms.
When i got the final bill to pay on discharge of mother and baby, they added the items in the bill break to sum up equivalent to maternity package amount and added unwanted investigation and doctor visit plus cpap/NISU charges, 3 days rent instead 2 days as per package.

Me and my wife had gone through immense pain. My baby girl went through complex heart surgery in refered Indraprastha Apollo hospital and after that she got sepsis in CCU and at last she died in Indraprastha Apollo hospital on 30th nov.
Hence request you to look into this matter and take prompt action against Apollo Cradle hospital for overcharging the package bill and diagnosis done by doctor.

We paid Rs.5000 and confirmed our booking in the subsequent week i.e. on 24th June 2017 for the mentioned tariff of Rs.39800 for normal and 46500 for C-section plus Non medicals and baby bill which would approximate to 30K. Payment receipt and the form attached herewith

Before paying we meet PRO Manager Mary Ann for discussing the details of information. She explained us a few things, not in details tough considering that we knew all details and discussed only about the tariff and the package. During this discussion we both were not aware of our insurance policy names and details. She quoted us the above said tariff plan. Rest details on the form were just marked off by her and were not discussed with us at all, which also included the Newborn assurance test. The copy of the same form is attached herewith.
This date the free scans offer was not given to us, tough I tried to convince her to give us considering old customer loyalty.

I opted for doctor visits at Apollo Clinic Bellandur, which was convenient for me from my work place. In my 3rd trimester (in the month of December), I was diagnosed with low HB and was advised four rounds of IV drips each per week. Considering my previous experience with the nurses, I opted to take the IV drips at Apollo Cradle Kormangala.

I was visiting Cradle every Saterday during the month of December for my drips. Once we met Ann to discuss, when she told that the tariff has now been changed and made the changes in the form. Never did Ann made an attempt to talk to us after this. During my third such drip in the last week of December, Shreeja met us and mentioned about the free scan offer which was started again in the 1st week of December. She asked us to pay another 5K and avail the offer. We did not consider the same as almost all my scans were done. But Ann did not bother to even inform us regarding the same(1st incident she tried to ignore us). I tried to meet her the subsequent drip and asked her for her time. She said to give 5mins, as she was occupied with something important than us, but she never turned up. We waited for her around an hours span.(2nd incident she ignored us).

Later in the month of January, my Dr. asked me to get a scan done to rule off some complication. So we opted to take up the free scan offer and tried to contact Ann again in 1st week of January. (3rd incident she ignored us). Finally I contacted Shreeja and confirmed the offer. On 17th January 2018 we paid another 5K and availed 1free scan on the same date. Payment receipt attached herewith.

Eventually, the day I was to deliver arrived. On 24th January 2018 I got admitted. My husband Rajeev clearly mentioned that he do not want Ann to get involved and he did not want to see her face any more in our course of stay, as we felt a little insulted for the 3 incidents she ignored the valuable customer.

Gods grace all went well with my delivery. On the 3rd day 27th January 2018, when i was to get discharged I was told that my baby had Jaundice. They took the blood test early morning at 6.30 AM. We awaited the reports and doctors confirmation till 1PM. Neither the doctor nor the nurses turned up. We were left in ambiguity weather we would be discharged or not. Finally late in the afternoon, the discharge was confirmed. My husband Rajeev started to complete the billing formalities. When he was handed over the bill of around 1.2 lakhs including 10K baby bill, to his shock we were billed to the package of 69K. He tried to enquire about the package we booked and the package we were billed. But was not provided the any clearance. As we wanted to get discharged and take our little one home on time, we paid the amount and completed the formalities, without which you would not have let us go home. While leaving we were not provided with any sort of feedback form to mention our concerns.

During our subsequent visits my husband tried to meet Ann and enquire about the difference and why was the new born assurance test not included in the baby bill. Ann did speak to us but with no proper clearance on both the matters and said she would get back to us. But Ann did not get back to us(4th incident she ignored us). I contacted Manjula and explained her the issue. She took efforts to talk to Ann and asked to get back to us. Ann called up once and very rudely spoke that she has seen the bill and its correct.

We decided to visit and get the issue sorted for the difference in the package amount we booked and paid. We visited for the same on 23rd January 2018 when my husband very jovially greeted Ann and asked her to talk for a min. She, with a very bad attitude said 2mins and did not turn up. This is when we had totally lost it on her and took this up with Manjula who once again tried to take up the matter and got in Ann in the room we were seated. Ann again with a rude and bad attitude pointing out finger on us said that we do not know anything. The argument in the room got heated and Ann very badly insulted us.

We never had faced such an insult in the previous delivery. We did not expect such a manager and such a treatment to a customer who has always praised and referred to so may patients.

What we want is an apology from Mary Ann and the clearance on why were we billed on a higher package eve though we booked it much earlier. when we were not provided the free scan offer for a delayed payment of a weeks time, why was the change in the tariff considered even though the booking was done much earlier on a lower tariff.
Also when we were eligible to claim the baby bill, why were we billed separately for the new born assurance test for which we had to shell out another 3K.

I would ask you to arrange a call to talk as the matter spoken are well explained than written.

Tough this was the worst i faced in Apollo Cradle, We want to inform you regarding the good experience too.
I would like to thank and appreciate Nurses Joslina Mariam and Aswathi for a wonderful experience we had to the outstanding work they did during my stay and IV drops visit. Also I want to appreciate old housekeeping lady in the nigh shift for her dedication to her work. These people made us still consider Cradle as a good place to deliver our bundles of joy.

I guess you would not want to ruin the renowned name of Apollo Cradle due to one bad employee like Mary Ann.

My sister visited chetna jain for # ulcer and she advised at least 20 tests including pap smear threatening us suggesting it the symptoms of cancer.

We got all the test done which costs us around 6000 rs and didn’t find anything, then she advised that we have to go through crytography surgery to get the ulcer removed which is said to be called as icing therapy as well.

To take the second opinion today we went to vijay wali, she started asking about that whether we have gone the test.

We told her that we have undergone through all the test. Then without physically examining she directly advised us few more tests saying that now these tests are mandatory.

There are many inernal lab assistants confirmed me that doctors are getting commission from the hospital based on how many test they have recommended to the patient.

Either there is any issue or not these stupid doctors are recommending tests which are useless rather recommending a medicine.

I would suggest to take a strong action against these doctors.

By the time, i will file a rti against your hospital and will approach pmo office as well to get your cod of conduct assessed in a detailed manner.

I gave birth to a baby girl on 21st may 2018. Since i didn’t want to include her father’s name in it, there were certain procedures which i completed and gave to the hospital responsibility mr. Senthil longa back in greams road branch. I used to repeatedly follow up and believe him to register my baby’s birth. He delayed a lot for the same and now it’s like the date is 24th may instead of 21st. It’s been more than a week where the guy didn’t take any action or update the record on priority. My baby already completed 4th month. Still wonder how the date can be changed. It’s yet to be corrected till date and the guy is very lethargic telling some reason or the other anytime i contact. And doesn’t respond to my call or get back if the issue is not sorted. I want the birth date of my baby to be corrected. He took long enough to register the birth and add name. I don’t want to waste more time in this issue too!!!

Its a very great feeling when u become pregnant. All the time i wait for ultrasound scanning so that i can see my baby but they showed me very badly they have done their work and they didn’t show babies face a single time clearly. All the screening charges are of good amount if you are taking money then please provide good facilities also. I booked an appointment by 3:15 with hemalata doctor but by number came after one hour with different doctor. I don’t know her name but she was very rude. I am very disappointed with apllo cradle services and doctors behavior. I will never suggest anyone to go there.

Dear, i took treatment in apollo cradle, brookfield on 27th nov again doctor said me to visit on 13th after doing scanning. So i called them to book an appointment for both on 12th i said within 3 days u can give appointment. But their response was immature and non logical, she said me that i have to take appointment 15days or 1 month back, is it logically correct? When my health is not good then only i can book right? Even the way she spoke was rude. My condition was not good i couldn’t wait for more time but they didn’t understand. Otherwise when i visited the hospital that time only they would have said me to book on spot right? I never expected this kind of response from the most prestigious hospital. I hope you’ll take action on it. Thank you
