I have come for a check-up and waiting for more than 1 hour for the service however they are not able to service me due to technical database related issues.
After 1:30 hrs i requested to proceed with the tests and i could pay the bill before i leave as doing multiple breast cancer related tests would take lot of time but the in charge mrs lalitha doesn't even wanna speak to me to make things working.
Hospital like apollo have become a business center no moral, no ethics n no hospitality for their patient.

Also being a technical person i understand upating things in the database may take some time but not more than i hour if it does you should probably think of alternative backend experts.

Department head could have considered this as special case as technical issue was from hospital's end proceed with my tests with a temporary bill or i pay the bill after the tests as i won't run away without paying the bill which was as low as rs2500.

I hope strict action should be taken on such in charge and adecuate trannings should be provided on how to deal with such situations, some time we need to amend the protocols based on situation.
If it was only to follow hospital's protocol then better to deploy robots than human resources..
It will work faster n more efficiently without any break.

I will surely share my experience with all my colleagues and friends.

Doctors of apollo hospital chennai they demand extra charges for procedure and for consultation also which is beautifully done without any bills so they refuse card payment.. Not all the doctors are doing same but i have visited few doctors for my family.. And i have done routine health check for myself and they have not given the complete reports whichever i have given the samples.. I think it's the time came if you can't manage properly you should close the hospital rather to play with patient's lifes just for your business purposes..

Requested list of 10 drugs at 1030 am

1 / delivered at 1130 pm

2 / ln bloc and mcalvit not delivered

3 / 6 drugs delivered only partially ie only 3 complete order fulfilled

4 / vg gel for lubrication ordered.. Candid v gel delivered wrongly

5/ i made several phone calls.. Only one call made by apollo by by navina who is efficient helpful and polite and begged me not to complain in november regarding non delivery for 4 days… Staff ramnath spoke to me at 5 pm and gave his name as dayalan.. Kabilan told me.. Adhigam pesadheenge yeppovay adhigama peserain.. Poi coplaint kudinge,.. Naan ap number kudikerain.. Incredible rudeness.. This was my 4th phone call and each time told "coming in 10 minutes.. Coming in 20 minutes.. My home is a 10 minute walk away,..

We are Boeing treated by Dr.Muralidhar Rajagopal for past 1 year. In the whole year not even a single day he kept his appointment timings. We should wait for hours and hours even after getting appointment. The receptionists outside is so lethargic not responding to queries. Making the experience more miserable. We had an appointment at 2 pm. But we never had a chance to meet the doctor even at 4.11 pm. This happens every time with this doctor alone. He is so much into his mobile than into patients. May be he is a big doctor but for Wat use? Without discipline and ethics.

My father is suffering from CKD AND HEART problem. He has been getting treatment at Apollo since past one year.gradually the services at hospital are becoming worse. The wards are unhygenic and dirty. Nursing staff is rude and not trained. But still we continued in Apollo because my Nephrologist is a very nice doctor. He is the only reason we continued there. Yesterday my father had severe attack of breathlessness and congestion. He was very unstable. We called apollo hospital for ambulance because he required oxygen support. The response from Apollo hospital was shocking. They refused to send the ambulance and said our hospital is full of patients. There is no bed in ICU OR EMERGENCEY WARD . So we wont treat your patient. How can a hospital deny treatment in case of emergency. At present my father is in another hospital in ICU.

My mother was admitted in icu on 24th april after experiencing high palpations and tremors. She was in very distressed condition and was visibly very uncomfortable but nurses ignored her for many hours in icu. My sister was able to reach her after few hours and found out, from nurse on duty, that the doctor is sleeping on job. My sister then woke up the doctor and requested him to actually do the work what he was supposed to do.in icu she was given unnecessay treatment of high doses of antibiotics, steriods and lasix inspite of the fact (After doing all necessary tests – echo, ecg and blood) that there is no evidence of heart failure, kidney problems or any bacterial infections etc. After this unnecessary treatment she almost went into coma but recovered only after my father complained and managed to change the doctor. The new doctor continued high doses o[censored]nnecessary treatment of antibiotics, lasix etc but he at least included the treatment of side effects caused by those drugs. At the end, after 15 days in icu and hospital stay she was nanaged to get discharged. She is still recovering from after effects of the medication but at least now in a good care of a doctor from different hospital.
Based on my experience, it seems apollo hospital only care about the money and not patient. They do their best to prolong the stay by giving very high doses o[censored]nnecessary drugs and then treating its side effects. There seems to be good evidence of medical malpractice.

My patient jatin dogra he is diagnosed with lung cancer nd has icici lombard cashless policy which is continuously rejected by bank because of your doctor's mistake. Dire state of apollo hospital saligramam, chennai clinic. Would the hospital wake up? The hospital is operating it's clinic near toilet and stair case with poor maintenance. Seats of patients are rusted. The corporate hospital doesn't bother on maintenance though they claim as quality… It's being in operation for more than 3 decades. For the sake of having representation across the city, they have opened everywhere without proper infrastructure and maintenance.
