I met dr. Bela media 15 days ago and i had another appointment scheduled with her on saturday. While she is only available on monday, wednesday and saturday that too till 12.45 pm, i had booked my appointment in time.

The hospital staff made me wait for an hour saying due to an emergency, dr. Bela isn't available and some other dr. Leena will see dr. Belas patients. I couldn't find any records of a dr. Leela on fortis website when i searched to check her history. After waiting for an hour, when i asked the receptionist as to when will the doctor be available, she said, and i quote – "i can't give an approximate tome"

I mean even after paying so much money, this is the behaviour of the staff! I was suffering from an infection which was extremely urgent to be medicated. This is preposterous. Action must be taken against the hospital for the same

My father (Wazir chand sharna, uhid-85251) visit fortis hospital kangra himachal on 8th april 2019 for treating the high blood sugar and foot ulcer. He was referred to dr anand todwal for initial checkup and he advised to get this case referred through echs (X-army) for better treatment. We have informed dr anand on my father’s present condition as he on pd dialysis, heart surgery, angioplasty, diabetic and other conditions along with current medications. I live in dubai and personally spoke to dr anand and explain the situation as my parents alone visited the hospital.
My father visited on 8th april and admitted on 9th april at fortis hospital kangra in the hope of best treatment within expert pool of doctors. Again, we had informed on my father’s kidney issue and asked to do hemo dialysis as lifeline for him. Dr anand started his experiments, unwanted tests to add more money as enrolled through ech.
My major concerns as dr anand has not done my father’s dialysis for 3 days which was a life treat for him as supposed to do on day. Moreover, dr anand has not taken any action to control high his sugar levels, not even proper dressing of the foot ulcer, not consulted family for any measures taken or advise. The most cruel and unethical part that dr anand told my father directly that your foot has gone fully and need to cut this (Foot amputate). This is highly irresponsible act as no doctor discuss all such matters directly with patient (Heart and kidney failure person) and such sensitive matters need to discuss with the family. We made so many requests, but this guy didn’t act to control his sugar or foot ulcer. He was pushing him to get into icu somehow and add more bills / putting him last breath of life.
Considering all facts, we decided to take discharge on 11th april which refused and after lot of struggle manage to get discharge on 12th evening. Dr anand was very upset on the discharge and took in writing from us as patient is on critical and taking him with their own wish. Also, fortis kangra staff checked all discharge papers and taken out all important report/papers and refused to write their recommendations in the discharge report.
Finally, we managed to come out from fortis kangra and shown my father to a local surgeon at palampur (Karan hospital). He has professionally handled him and now he is recovering well and able to control his condition at all levels.
I would like to request a full review of dr. Anand’s practice methods, his attitude toward his patients and an explanation of why he ignored several requests of dialysis and sugar control. Also, i need to know the evidence of recommending surgical procedure of cutting his foot. We managed to exit but there must so many others whose life is in danger at fortis hospitals kangra and must need to action to stop such practice

Kindly furnish me with a copy of the agreement wherein the patient agrees for security deposit without interest to be held by fortis hospitals for 45 days. What is the purpose of withholding when the purpose is cancelled. Does it conform to the spirit of indian contracts act amended till date. As i was busy shifting my ailing father i could not devote time to your terms and conditions. I feel you are totally unethical to hospital norms and industry rather running your organisation as hospitality industry. Pl. Address my concern for me to escalate the same in appropriate forums.

This is to complain against gross miss conduct exploiting doctor patient relationship making me feel extremely uncomfortable as a female, please make sure action is taken against him and such monsters don't work at your hospital, for privacy reasons i am not mentioning my name but if no action is taken against him i will make sure to file a case against the doctor and the hospital. We came for checkup for migraine on 17/04/19 to Dr HS Maan in fortis Mohali . The patient after 2 days started having irritation, breathlessness and heaviness of body along with weight gain of 4 kgs suddenly . When we consulted at your reception the doctor was not ready to attend the patient .

My elder sister mrs kalpana roy uhif:fhl.295755 and ipid : 93676 was admitted on 31.03.2019 and released on 19.04.2019
During release she was found to have stopped normal feeding and have to use nj tube for feeding
She was also found to have got affected with bed sore due to complete negligence of hospital

Instead of proper rehabilitation of patient, they have hurriedly discharged the patient violating all norms

It is necessary that hospital must take corrective steps do proper rehabilitation of the patient as a part of compensation

Dr amit gupta on 4th itself recommend for discharge on 5th morning as everything is normal.in today morning one of lady doctor visited and found ok and told us that discharge will completed before 11am but every staff has no information about this even they are least bother to listen any thing.

Sub : Billing / Administration – Complaint Against Final Bill

I am writing to complain about the unsatisfactory billing done by the fortis c-Doc Hospital. I met with an accident 3 year ago & life time rod inserted into
my HIP. But after 3 year .I am suffering from continous pain in my leg. I was consulting the doctor of Max, Ganga Ram & Fortis C-Doc.
and they Suggesting to change the HIP.

The implant cost was coated by all three hospital approx 1.10 to 1.30 Lac.

The total cost was coated by Max Hospital & Ganga Ram Hospital approx 3 Lac with all expenses for Seven Days Package.

After some permutation & Combination, We decided to change HIP on 15th May 2019 by fortis C Doc Hospital under observation of Mr. Saurabh Moda.
The Pre approval was taken by the fortis hospitsal by the amount of Rs 1.80 Lac against the approx billing of Rs 2.44 Lac ( Include impant cost.
of Rs 1.30 Lac).

When We received the final bill its totally surprising to me.The implant cost was increased from 1, 30, 000 to 1, 76, 276. The Hike in implant cost by 40 % approx.
The Hospital was not providing any specific reason for increase in implant cost & forcing us to paid the balance amount .
They are not ready to change the bill
because they had taken the approval for wrong amount which they are not ready accept it.So Why, I paid extra amount.
I had taken the maximum approval of Rs 2.50 Lac from My TPA on my good faith.

My brother had requested many times to meet the hospital higher management but they not allowed.

The fortis Hospital was charging us Rs 3.05 lac for just for 2 days which was totally unfair & look like cheated me & other hospital was providing
in 3 lac for seven day for the same treatment.

I was suffered 9 hrs for this process & finally we pay rest of amount which was looking still unfair.

The fortis had a good name in the market & never ever think that they cheated like this to the patient.

I want to look into the matter seriously as the hospital was cheated us for the wrong billing & the committment.

Prompt reply will be highly appreciated.

Dear sir,
This is referring to the patient _shravani uday malgaonkar and she was admitted in fortis hospital in kalyan from 23may to 26may for pacemaker battery replacement and operation has done successful.
I have paid all their hospital bill charges in advance as per their estimate cost. Rs.1.1lac and final bill was rs 95308/-so they should give us balance amount. As discussed we have submitted them crossed bearer cheque to easy process but still we didn't get any single money from them.

Please look into this matter and resolve it on top most priority.
